I was walking around town when suddenly a Window error message popped right in front of me. It read: “ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DELETE THIS REALITY?” I clicked yes. I watched the city disappear little by little, until I was standing in the middle of a grassy meadow and the sky became a purple sunset. Gravity shifted in a way the ground catapulted me into the sky, similarly to how you fall out of map boundaries in a video game. I could hear Porter Robinson’s Sea of Voices play in the background while I floated upward, watching the ground disappear. After that, I lost all sense of direction. I remember feeling like I was going to die and being ok with that fact. When the song came to the “We’ll see creation come undone” lyric, I hit a pool of water and I woke up. That was one of the most vivid dreams I’ve ever had.
